Paypal appeal refused... but i didnt appeal?

Ok so i had a refund of a £49 perfume sent last week (i sell around £2k worth of perfumes... 6 months on ebay/paypal now)

and today i got an email saying

"For the safety and security of the PayPal network, we often review accounts for potential risks. After reviewing your account, we have decided to close it because of security issues.

We are making every effort to minimise any disruption to your business.

If your PayPal account balance is zero, and you have no unresolved buyer complaints or chargebacks, your account will remain limited."

Yet when i log in, it says that theyre just asking for documents (not what happens when you log into a terminated paypal account) I phoned to make sure and the guy on the phone said it wasnt permanent, they just want documents and id etc...

so which is it? (the email isnt a phishing scam btw, its verified)

I know this for sure. Some staff can make mistake when sending you message. Because they already have templates, they may just select the wrong template and send to you.
I have experience this before and it was resolve when I spoke to the right staff.
I will send the documents they requested for and contact them on phone.

Keep in mind that even if you submit the documents and ID (is it a long list to get done? invoices, tracking, ID, etc?)...paypal could still deny reinstatement. Perfume and cosmetics could be considered high risk.

it might be a soft limitation or they might be lying and they want all your stuff and then it will still be perm....

can you still withdraw?

no, i appealed with documents and they denied.

I love ****ing ebay and paypal over, this only makes me more determined

This is normal, I've seen it before they suspect the products being sold maybe pake* thus requesting more information. If you can convince them products are genuine then the account is usually reinstated. If not then you've probably got 180 days hold to look forward too...
