Question about PayPal to Bank Account transfer
I've had my paypal account and ebay account since 2003. Used them both with no problems, and even took the hit once for a reversed chargeback payment by restoring my negative balance as I couldn't be bothered jumping through paypal's hoops just to get the generic answers they always give anyway.
I have 2 visa electron cards registered on my paypal account - one is no good since I had it cancelled with my bank (I recorded it lost months ago). The other one is fine and is my "primary".
I recently removed my bank account details from paypal and used my card as my primary payment source.
But now I want to withdraw approximately £300 out of my paypal account, however I can only withdraw money to a bank account (as there is no option to withdraw money to my card).
If I re-register my bank account details and immediately transfer the paypal money to it, then remove the bank account details and the 'working' visa card details (making the defunct card primary), is there any way Paypal can take the money out of my bank account if I'm hit with another chargeback somewhere down the line? i.e. once my bank account and card details are removed from paypal, are they're untouchable?
As a related question, if I transferred the money from my paypal account to my freinds paypal account (who has no links with me), and I'm subsequently hit with a chargeback, will paypal take the money out of my friends account or simply just make my paypal account negative?
