Question 180 days or 30 days?

After receiving £490 from ebay, paypal hit me with the "your account access is limited" message and asked me to send some proof of postage / invoices.

I fulfilled their request and sure enough, 5 hours later paypal sent me the "appeal refused, we're closing your paypal account to protect us from potential financial losses." email and went through the review process.

When it says that in 30 days from the email they will "release your entire remaining balance to you for withdrawal.", is this only if the review comes back positive? and, if it doesn't, i'll wait to wait the 180 (150 depending how you look at it) days?

I assume it works like this but I'm unsure.

It means that every 30 days they will look at your account. They may release all the money, some of the money or none of the money each 30 days

The review will happen at 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, etc. At 180 days anything left will all get released

That makes everything clearer, thanks for putting me at ease of mind. I was looking around the forum, and some people have mentioned that contacting a small claims court or financial ombudsman would get them to hurry up.

Is there any point in doing so or should I just wait it out?

Save you energy, wait it out and move on to other accounts.

If after 180 days they still don't release funds, then you should consider your options.

Not worth the time and effort

Just wait for them to release the funds
