Figure it's a great time to withdraw as there will be so many now over the next day as people have to do it all over again that it means less chance your account gets checked.

No but I never ever do. Only get an email once the stated time period clears to the minute and that email tells me that my money will be in my bank within 2 hours and it always is!

HOTFIXED

PayPal have issued a hotfix for this problem and any affected withdrawals on the UK site have been cancelled and credited to your balance. This will now show as Refused and you must make the withdrawal again. You may need to wait another 24-72 hours, subject to status.

Your account doesn't get checked anyway before a withdrawal is completed. This "security" hold is nothing more than a timed diversion, to allow for any disputes; limitations or chargebacks to set in before they release your money to you. It is not a human review, hence why it is cleared exactly when they state it will.

My withdraws from a few days earlier are now marked as refused and been returned to my paypal balance. I'm glad this post is here and its not just me.

My latest withdrawal has gone through fine by the way so bug deffo fixed.
