UK Paypal - Unable to add bank account

Note: this is a stealth acc for ebay UK

So I'm trying to add a fresh Barclays Everyday Saver account (sub account), but Paypal keeps mentioning that there's an issue adding it.

Tried calling PP rep, and they mentioned to do it again (via my online PP ac), and it did the same thing.

They then stared asking personal questions (DOB, postcode, etc). They mentioned that they did checks (via Equifax's LexisNexus), and were unable to find my details.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you ring up there is an automated service and sometimes that will work

Yeah, tried the automated tel, but it still rejected the sub account.

Managed to add the main Barclays one, so up and running now.
