Sorry for the very late reply to this thread. But, what PayPal address did you send the claim in court to:

Was it this one:

PayPal (Europe) Ltd
WHITTAKER HOUSE
WHITTAKER AVENUE
RICHMOND
SURREY
TW9 1EH

Or

PayPal (UK) Limited
Registered office address 5 New Street Square, London, EC4A 3TW

Thanks for your time and help.

Received this email off paypal today:

Thank you for contacting PayPal with your concern regarding the limitation on your account.

At this time, the limitation on your PayPal account cannot be removed until the below issues are resolved.

To help us resolve this, you will need to:
- Upload or fax a copy of any invoices referencing your purchase or acquisition of the merchandise sold. This should include your supplier's contact information and show the date of purchase.

The main problem is that I do not sell wholesale or have receipts to the items as they are mainly vintage/charity shops. So, I cannot copy/scan/fax any information to them? Do, I explain this through email or phone. I still believe to get the funds release I will have to pursue and go to court.

You might have to consider being creative with the invoices...

Good news paypal uplifted my permanent limitation, changed it to a temporary limitation and then restored my account. So, I have withdrawn the money.

I contacted my local MP, Financial Ombusdam, BBB and emailed a list of paypal emails. I do not know which, one worked.

Fantastic news

The barrage of noise was too much for them and they folded. Glad to hear it worked.

Hi I have taken many banks to court and never lost and set precedents. My last was against MBNA where they came with 3 barristers and the judge took 3 months to consider his decision in my favour.

However my area of knowledge although similar is not with paypal and consumer laws. I may know a solicitor and given this is a recurring paypal theme he may well be interested. I will contact him next week for you.
this continual money grabbing and keeping it, is in my eyes just theft.

Give me until next Friday and if i haven't messaged you feel, free to message me

jack
