Default Paypal limitations

Paypal often< I am not sure if it is always> ask for more information about you when you have reached a specific amount of sales, I believe it is around £1700.

Even though you have verified your information, does this happen all the time?

If you have filled in all the requirements they set to begin with, it does say in their TOS that as you use them more often, they will want to know more about you and your business, when do these things start taking place? Has anyone been on PP long enough to verify more than twice?.

How many limitations have people had to overcome? I know there is the main two to begin, after the initial opening and verifying:

1. they ask for prrof of address(utility bill, photo ID and I think one other, but cant remember what it is)

then further on down the line they get arsey and ask for

2. proof of inventory, proof of postage(last five transactions) invoices.(cant remember the rest)

From my experience, this second wave of action only takes place if you have had some problems, someone leaving a neg, or too many refunds etc.

However has anyone been asked this without having had any trouble? around what time did this happen? (how much money was in your account?)

Want to try and figure out what triggers these things off, and how to stay clear of them for as long as possible, so any help advice, thoughts ideas are welcome

I find number 2 is generally triggered by volume sales and is usually combined with number 1.

And the £1700 is the EU anti money laundering ceiling limit though I have often hit 2k before triggering the additional verification.

A typo? I know where you are coming from & wish I could give you a defined answer that would be easy to use. tbh, there is no such answer. Each & every account is treated differently by paypal. We know this because some of us have multiple accounts selling similar items: yet the accounts have different things happen OR not happen.
A user may have £400 or £1100 go thro' the account & been cross-examined as if they committed murder.

Just make sure you get a provider that would have those items. Use the logo of the provider, fill in an invoice form (it's literally FULL of them on the web) and place a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address and get call forwarding of a phone number. And that's it (doesn't even need to be in english, if you are from Romania, like me, just get a RO number and forward it to your own, or a friend's number)
TIP: make sure you print and scan it (make it look real)
