Ive confirmed my card this afternoon (VCC) and entered the 4 digit code to resolve the final step, Yet when i go to resolution centre, it still says resolve and gives me the option to add card again?

Any idea guys?

Sometimes their systems run a bit slow.... check again in a bit

What do you mean 'resolve final step'? - have they made you enter a card?

The paypal account was limited but im assuming it was because i did not verify it untill they asked me too so now i am having to follow their steps.

I have a card for the bank account yes, but its a savers account and the actual debit card has been used on another paypal rather then a VCC like this time round.

Like i said previous, i clicked resolve again and it asked me to add card so i cancelled and then it took me to details page where you fill in name, dob etc but it was totally different to what i had on file ? weird

You need to give them what they want. i.e. a passport and utility bill in your 'name'.

when you say limited, do you mean it had limits, or was limited to provide id ?

Can you remove the card first then add another one ?

i have been in the same situation a couple of months ago, just the card i remove was a vcc and then added the one attached to my account.

it could also be something to do with your stealth details, where the details you saw, remotely like what you had entered. that does sound a bit strange.

Well i think it was limited to provide ID etc

I have tried to remove card but wont let me. The details i saw briefly were totally different to what my stealth details are, name was correct but address and postcode was well off.

I have emailed paypal but just get a autoresponse

How did you originally get limited by PayPal?

What was their first message that kicked off the resolution steps?

Sounds like you may be getting closed, but let's not jump the gun yet.

This was the first message i got off them in an email

Dear Paypal Moron,

We need your help resolving an issue with your account. To give us time to
work together on this, we've temporarily limited what you can do with your
account until the issue is resolved.

We understand it may be frustrating not to have full access to your PayPal
account. We want to work with you to get your account back to normal as
quickly as possible.

What's the problem?

It's been a little while since you used your account. For reasons relating
to the safe use of the PayPal service we need some more information about
you and your account

Reference Number: PP-001-336-480-846

How you can help

It's usually quite straightforward to take care of these things. Most of
the time, we just need some more information about your account or latest
transactions.

To help us with this and to find out what you can and can't do with your
account until the issue is resolved, log in to your account and go to the
Resolution Centre.

Yours sincerely,
PayPal

I am now pretty sure you're getting closed

Are any of your PayPal details similar to any suspended PayPal details?

Best thing you can do now is to contact PayPal by phone.

Just cross your fingers that they don't give you the closed account line.
