Default Address CONFIRMED via card of file, but still showing unconfirmed, seriously confused

I have been through the whole process of confirming my address via debit card and thats all good but for some reason is being identified as not confirmed on both the seller's & my transaction page though.

What is the deal with this??? My address is exactly the same with both paypal & ebay.... (stealth accounts setup properly)

PLease can someone shed some light on this, thanks in advance

Have you added a bank accoun yet and confirmed the 2 deposits?

Not sure if you need to be fully verified now before you show as being confirmed.

As said I am not sure on thsi but cant think of anything else, I know how frustrating it is when nobody answers your threads lol I have a couple at the moment I am waiting on answers for but nothing nobody chiming in :(

Maybe because it is weekends even the most season ebayer has a life away from their pc's lol

best of luck...........

avs isnt being used according to forum experience, it is the expuse that determines your control of the card, regardless of what paypals terms state. Paypal say that they verify your address via card but we have plenty of evidence that the card goes through regardless of address, it is the expuse you input that is needed.

Your address is verified actually via the phone pin or letter pin.

my Uk accounts were made so long ago I cant remember at what point they actually showed up as verified, tbh...someones else more recent will have to input ..

thank you oompaloompa. I phoned paypal and they helped me sort this out. I just had to view limits, then from their supply additional information, then confirm this (once again) with a phone verification. Its all good now i think anyway Thanks to anyone who replied

you need to click 'confirm my identity' tab.....chances are that your details won't match what they have on file for you (whatever that is) so you will have to confirm by phone. Get them to phone your special landline number and then input the 4 digit code they show you on the screen. Job Done. You now have a home confirmed.

Ok, thats good. But do you still have 'view limits' or 'lift limits' showing on your account cos some UK accounts also have this prob.i.e. after completing all thet task with none outstanding, these buttons still show.

yeah this has happened to me, but i think that may be a glitch on paypal end.

If you have done all the verification processes successfully, then you have nothing to worry about just ignore the "view limits" :-)

it will go away adventually
