anyone had any success with coventry building society, i have a current account with them (even though its a building society) and wondered if it would sneak through...

thoughts?

cheers

Callidus 11-26-2011 03:00 PM

As long as they can accept debits from a different name to the name your bank account is in youll be fine.

Other no, and some accounts run the risk of losing the funds I think.

cortex 01-06-2012 08:45 PM

i would not recommend using lloyds

When he says 'MINT' means VERY GOOD.

and if he is a she. :noidea: it still means the same thing.

eBay King 01-09-2012 12:54 PM

Mint is only a credit card. A good credit card none the less...

Did you use that account on any other paypal account?

Are you keeping mint records of everything you do?

Have you an excel file?

Likely either of the following, account has been used B4 or you made a typo with your numbers...
Check this

The Royal Bank of Scotland account is completely new and i am 100% sure that the details entered are correctly.

any ideas as to why this would be a happening?

GTB 01-11-2012 02:16 PM

maybe it is just a error on the pay pal side

i hope you can get it sorted

Stigger 01-11-2012 06:42 PM

Read TizWoz's reply.

Snafu by a third party if you are 100% sure of your own actions.

Had a look around other threads and search facility but cannot find anything.

The only thing in common I can think of is co-operative bank accounts anybody else have problems with these lately.
Everything else on acounts is all good different ips all the time etc.
Thanks

This thread is more than a year old and more likely outdated information. Your account suspensions are more likely related to the hundreds of others UK members that have had accounts suspended resently and not related to the bank. Do a search there are many threads about it

Why would it be outdated information if I am asking a question relating to the present time?
I have seen people are having problems with UK accounts getting suspended, I have read all the topics. I too have had these 2 suspended and can think of no problem other than what I inquied about.
Like everybody else I am trying to find out what has gone wrong
They are two accounts with everything different. Addresses 200 miles apart been up and running over a year new ipaddress user account active telephone numbers email address.
With other accounts where I have used a different bank I have had no problem.
Hence my question.

I already have an online account with the Co-op. Can anyone tell me what actually happens when you open a second account. Is it all online application form? Do they need to see documents of some kind for example proving who you are or will you be covered by the existing online account?
Thanks for any replies.

Re: Bank accounts which work with Paypal

I'm sure you have to phone co op to open another acc

luverlyjuberly 01-17-2015 02:09 PM

Re: Bank accounts which work with Paypal

They have me filling in an online application but knowing my luck at the very end it will say "Now you have to phone us too!"
