I just been on the phone to paypal. These 21day holds are supposed to bE on all new seller accounts??? Anyone experiencing this?

Do you think new eBay and paypal stealth or just open a new paypal and link that and hope for the best?

What your views thankyou.

My last three paypal accounts had the 21 day hold but after a couple 10 feedbacks the hold was gone on all 3. Honestly the hold doesn't really bother me because I don't withdraw anything until my account is about six wks old.

This has been going on for months.

paypal uk is very active at the moment with such holds.

Prepare yourself for rolling reserves if you have not done so already :juggle:

I have a 90 day rolling reserve of 10% - it's getting very very common

It's paypal taking love from you. Explained in this thread recently. Been summat paypal might do since late 2009. As I said, being done to more UK accounts now.

And not just limited to PP. Other sites have this annoying "reserve" implemented.

It has to be factored into the business model.

A bit like a casino playing poker, you can't win from betting nothing. You need up front stake money.

Due to too many scammers just pulling out all the cash and leaving pp with the bill - one of the principles.
