Ebay ok, paypal closed down

Hi,

I recently had my stealth paypal account closed when I submitted id.
The ebay account seems ok so I want to still use it.
Is it possible to open a new paypal account in a different name to link it to the live ebay account?
I inagine it will have to be a new person, but woukd ebay become suspicious?

Are you talking about removing the £1900 limit or some other limitation?

Either way, if the docs are poor they will get rejected. If the docs are good they nearly always lift the £1900 limit. This is not always the case if the account is limited due to risk.

You need to forget about the Ebay account as it is linked to your Paypal account that has been banned, any new Paypal accounts that you try link to the same Ebay account will also get banned. Take GrannyT's advice and do some research before you go any furthur and make any more beginners mistakes otherwise you are just wasting your time. Seriously!

I had this a while ago, PP account closed after docs submitted but ebay account still active, the ebay account may as well have been closed as well as it was useless without a PP account to link to it, give it up and move onto the next one!

You should go fresh - any new pp account added is unlikely to be usable...meaning at some point you will be limited.

im having same problem at minute
my paypal account just been banned for no reason after sending docs\but my ebay account is fine and it is still letting me list items no problems
just i need a paypal account to accept payments when items sells

Simoneo, if your paypal account is banned then the ebay account that you have used with it will be linked and if you try and open another paypal account to use with that ebay account then you will lose it too. Ebay OWN paypal and they are inherently linked. Jettison both accounts, follow the stealth instructions and start over from scratch. Its no great shakes, I;ve done it several times now. It wont hurt when the pain goes! He he heh!

Hello i know this sounds crazy, but a stealth pp account was linked to my eb account and the pp got blocked. So i made another pp and linked it to my eb and these accounts still work to this day. Eb account has like 200 feedback and they have been linked for a good 5 months now atleast. Havent heard a peep from pp or eb. May be lucky or just a glitch in their system. But i say its worth a go if the eb account is a good one with feedback. Not like you got anything to lose anyway. It takes like 10 mins to make a new pair of accounts. So i say take a risk and try your luck. Just see what happens as it has worked for me.
