A lot will depend on WHAT you are selling and how fast.

I'm not selling high risk item and doing very slowly...... Last stealth I used 4 months to make myself look like a business seller, but one silly mistake. Account gone...... I can make around £200 every month which means I will buying £200 voucher every month, will that a risk?

Money in and out without bank is just as bad. You bring in a $1000 and spend $1000 the way they see it is just what it is, avoiding bank. They actually like bank over anything else. But how to avoid the limit longer is the million dollar question. So many variables. But avoiding bank is not the safest answer IMO. You can get limited withdrawing 20 bucks and get away with 400. Like rsot notes, it depends on where the money comes from and how fast

The bank transfer itself is not the only thing that springs the limit. Spending can be just as risky.

Actually that is a good method. The best method is this:

Let the money sit in PayPal. Only use it after 60-90 have passed since you received it. Use it as much as you can for shopping and withdraw only a little.

Thats a little over kill as far as I'm concerned. And no normal [real] account holder would do that. So can not see how it would really help very much. But as I have never waited 3 months to use money I guess I cant say how well it would work in all fairness. But sounds extreme

Light discretion tip might be to wait the same amount of time as a hold - their 21-day hold policy you dig?

Don't think you follow - if pp's hold is 21 days, would make sense to give your cash 21 days as a safe jumping point - sorry I was not clearer...

Ummm...... This is my third stealth account, paypal never do the 21 days money holding on me...... I usually open the account and leave it for only buying for 1-2 months and then start selling slowly.

usually you need to sell something on eby, maybe 2 or 3 items to trigger it.

I do not get why withdrawing money to bank is an issue? not heard of this. Be sensible and cash out in say under £200 each time over a time period, if you are new, and also leave a little in the acc. Thats unusual, cos a bank means you are fully verified, never had an issue.

21 day hold shows in pending column on main page of paypal. it is on ebay sales, until the acc sufficently ages/dsrs.

Withdrawing to a bank should not trigger anything - it's what they expect you to do isn't it? You are on there to make money - not making and taking money would look suspicious to me.

The last new account I made I started withdrawing when I had £1200 in it and I drew £700. Every time there was £1200 I drew £700, often every day. I paid Ebay fees every Sunday and left the £500 in there. There was never less than £500 in the account. I then started increasing it and can now draw £5K a week without any problems. There were occasions when pending to complete took a while. Nowadays it's almost instant

I don't sell VERO or foo-foo but most items are £500 plus.

The problem I have is the 90 day 10% retention - it kills me but I live with it and view it as part of the price of being in business

It can be a real pain becuase of the way they spring it on you and if you do not know about it before hand, depending on what you sell it can make you have to make some big changes to your business plan, it can also damage businesses to the point of no return, all that said if you get through it, its a blessing and im happy it happend to me when it did.

Not seen much of you these days and in a way im glad, All the best for 2012 GT.
