Of course you can't. If it's outside of Ebay what has it got to do with Ebay?

If that's your worry buy it from Ebay or find someone else selling it

Yup, anything out of eBay is nothing to do with them, hence not protected by eBay, i'd think twice before buying what ever you want to buy, specially if your having doubts aswell.

if the seller is selling on ebay then go through ebay platform as you are paying through paypal.

but if you are paying through paypal and it is goods then yes you can open a dispute.

That snad thing is a right pain. Some buyers will use it dishonestly, even when the product is perfect.

Don't forget if the sale was done in the UK you are protected under the distance selling act.

also remember paypal and ebay both favor buyers over sellers so if you are buying then you are well protected.

Istead of coming back with more questions, tell a bit more of the story eh.....

along the lines of

I have this chance to buy something that seems too good to be true & the seller wants to do the deal off ebay/ I asked the seller to do the transaction off ebay.

Now I'm worried if I have protection

Any suggestions to make sure I am protected

Yes/No?
