paypal trying to avoide paying what they owe me
In February I sold a laptop for £120 and the buyer paid by pay-pal, he received the laptop and after testing it for a week left positive feedback. So all seemed fine until a month later he opened a dispute with pay-pal stating the laptop was faulty, as is the norm pay-pal decided in his favour and issued him a full refund, when I received the laptop back it was missing many parts and totally ruined as he had let what must of been a monkey try to fix it. I appealed to pay-pal and today received a email from them saying I had won the appeal and they would refund my money once I send the laptop to them, Only problem is they want me to send it to Dallas USA, which will cost £86.21. Surely this is not right. as both me and the buyer are in the UK and the pay-pal that we all use is Pay-pal Europe not pay-pal USA. has anyone else had the same problem ?
