Made accounts incorrectly: options needed please

Hey guys,

Basically opened a brand new Paypal with brand new IP a couple weeks ago, after all I started selling a item on EBAY, got the paypal verified btw.

On ebay, I sold a item and then got the payment, only to realise of the 21 day hold and for my account to become limited, I have refunded the buyer and ditched that account.

I then opened a account yesterday, added a VCC, sold a real low item on ebay and my ebay listing got closed. They asked me to send in Proof of ID and that for my ebay. Paypal is still okay but not verified yet.

Not sure what to do as of now? Can you help me and tell me what options I have, whether to ditch this one and move on to another one and verify it again?

Thank you everyone.

Sounds like a fatal flaw in your methodology. Have you read the Stealth book?

Futuremogul888 11-02-2012 01:58 PM

Nice Title (sarcastic)

Ebayorbust 11-02-2012 02:50 PM

Verify the paypal before you list anything on ebay.

That wouldn't be reason for the suspension. It's something else that the OP did that flagged the account... I stay under the radar with unverified accounts every day.

Toss this account in the garbage and move on to a new account.

maybe bad luck, twice in a row, or maybe you missed something, did you empty your cache / made a new user account?

sax4 11-02-2012 03:47 PM

Yes being unverified is unlikely to cause this. If you look at the book, then compare to the method you used, then I'm sure the answer will become apparent.

That sort of cr*p title earns no brownie points.

Kids do that.

You did not even manage to post in the correct part of the forum as well.

Geeze, maybe you do need help

how can you list anything to sell with unverified paypal?

Ropey 11-02-2012 05:42 PM

Not sure bud, it let me, then cancelled the listing.

GreenBean 11-02-2012 06:16 PM

Ropey,

Outline exactly what you did starting from creation of the account.

I see glitches but will wait for more info

Brand new User account, then the following;

Made a new hotmail.

Made the paypal account.

Added a VCC. Made the Ebay, listed a £1 item, it went up fine, few hours later was taken down.

GreenBean 11-02-2012 07:39 PM

What was the ebay notice?

What about IP?

Did you use a new IP?

Appears linking is a possibility

Ropey 11-02-2012 07:52 PM

Totally New IP, it asked for proof of ID. That was it.

GreenBean 11-02-2012 09:16 PM

I'm hoping to find the code of the suspension.

I had these 2 errors

Ebay account limited - MC124 Notice

Ebay listings cancelled - MC067 Notice.

Thats why I had in emails.

GreenBean 11-03-2012 12:23 AM

Alright. Seen these before.

MC124 is a request for ID.

Your name, street, postcode DOB is not 'right' with them. I know it's broadly put. But whatever you did , did not meet their basic standards.

MC067 is notice of removal of listings because of restricted account ( as above).

Possibly if you pay attention to the address etc, there may be a clue.

NB...that's my observations

:brushteeth:

Elijah 11-03-2012 03:47 AM

It's never been due to name/address for me; even with fictional addresses (Cherryblossom lane...) I have been all right. I am almost certain that the MC124 is due to you listing the "wrong" item as your first item/listing too many at once, and the VCC would be the most likely cause of the PayPal limitation (it only happened after you got payment, right?).

So to address the MC124, try listing something more "suitable" and don't list more than one for at least 12 hours (the amount of time after which you should be clear of any MC violations), and don't add a VCC to your PayPal as soon as you create it... wait an hour after at least. Those are the two things that I do to avoid these issues, as they were once a big problem for me too.

Ropey 11-03-2012 06:11 AM

You speak like a totally different person here? I speak to you on messenger.. you gave me the VCC to add.

Really? Really?

Ropey 11-03-2012 06:35 AM

Yes, both really, this is annoying as he gave me it and says should be alright and told me to list it right away.

How much did you pay him for the VCC?
