How long do Paypal take to review docs?
 

Hi

I have just sent my docs to paypal.

How long do they usually take to review them?

I cannot withdraw any funds and am still receiving numerous payments from eBay orders.

24-72 hours - if you dont hear in 3 days, might have to consider ringing them up...they do act slowly sometimes

It's normally pretty fast, then they Ban you, lol. :pound:

Since January paypal Uk has been taking days, and even weeks to OK these.

Few cases have been coming thro' quicker.

No sensible person would make a phone call to 'chase' these either.
It's a case of the less scrutiny the better

Wow, U.S. has been very quick. Is that a UK/AU thing?

Great :( , will just have to sit back and play the waiting game on this account, its my main account with good feedback and selling limits.

On the plus side, will give me the time to get around to building on my other ebay accounts.

Oh! if only. :pry: Here in good old Blighty that was the case a few months back.

Recently however it is not uncommon to have to wait at least a week and sometimes considerably longer.

As for calling them, that would be a big mistake as it seems to prompt them to send the docs to another department to "complete" the process which some have reported in the their docs being rejected and their accounts being limited.

There is obviously something afoot regarding the ID verification process at p/p UK right now and patience is a definite virtue here.

Sit tight and let them do their thing in their own time otherwise you may live to regret it.:yar:

Seems a week is the norm anymore.

Gone are the 24 hours I believe.

Be patient work on other accounts.

OP, just to confirm what the others (that know what they are talking about) have said, it can take anything up to a couple of weeks at the moment.

Anyone getting docs reviewed in 24 to 72 hours is extremely lucky.

I waited 15 days... and 17 on another case
