Recently however it is not uncommon to have to wait at least a week and sometimes considerably longer.
As for calling them, that would be a big mistake as it seems to prompt them to send the docs to another department to "complete" the process which some have reported in the their docs being rejected and their accounts being limited.
There is obviously something afoot regarding the ID verification process at p/p UK right now and patience is a definite virtue here.
Sit tight and let them do their thing in their own time otherwise you may live to regret it.
