Activity: 0% Longevity: 64% | | Use my real debit card with paypal.
Hi, I'm looking to purchase may items off ebay. I've created a stealth ebay and a stealth paypal and have verified my paypal with a new bank account. For me to make many purchases off ebay will I be able to add my debit card that I received with my new bank account? Will paypal/ebay be able to see my actual details linked to the card?
If the above is not possible please could anyone suggest a different way for me to make many purchases on ebay....I have considered setting up a VCC with entropay but it wont be worth it with the fee being so high.
Many thanks in advance for your replies.
Will

You cannot used a real card on PP or EB. It will fail the AVS check.
Entropay is your best option. The fees are 5%, so easily manageable.
Alternatively you could look for sellers that allow you to pay via other means.

Thanks for the quick reply!
Ok so I'll have to go down the VCC route.
The 5% entropay fee is to high for me. Do you know of any other decent VCC that have a smaller fee?

You only need to load £10 minimum, so that's only 50p.
If your business plan can't afford 50p as an expense then perhaps you should reconsider.
Entropay is one of the few virtual cards available in the UK. I haven't seen any (there might be ones) with significantly lower load fees.
Any real prepaid cards will cost a lot more than 50p in fees.
Actually the Entropay fee is 4.95% from a card and 3.95% via bank transfer. So if you go via bank transfer, you can save yourself 10p. Winner!

That would not be a wise move unless its a PP that used all your real info.

@wills1230, if you decide to pay via funds from your bank - PP can see the real name of the bank account due to the receipt generated (like an eCheck....the name is shown).
Go for the VCC - eBayorbust is right - fees are reasonable on Entropay

Money saver for starters.
Most of us that know how to use entropay correctly find it great to use. |

Is there any other way I'm able to buy products off ebay without going down the route of a VCC?

Only the purchases themselves could flag pp (e.g. if you buy weird or high-risk stuff) but as long as you have EP balance to cover, you should be fine.
I make purchases with Entropay all the time
