eBay case please help
 

Sold an item through eBay, paid by paypal, buyer opened the case in eBay 2 days after received the goods. goods are genuine. I replied the case in eBay, I agree to refund in full once received the returned goods.

I believe buyer has got 7 days to responde this, isnt it? and my questions is: what will happen if buyer doesnt respond for 7 days? will ebay close case automatically and release the holding funds? thanks

yes the buyer needs to respond within the time limit, they will get an email reminder but they can re-open case if they call and say they didnt know/forgot etc, so keep an eye on it for a couple of weeks after.

sometimes they are not bothered or do not want to pay for return it, so they ignore the case.

thanks , will paypal release the holding funds and case close automatically after 7 days if the buyer doesnt reply ?

cannot remember if it is 7 days, I had 10 days in my mind, but anyway yes it closes and money released.

Really depends on the amount, the item in question, and whether PP agent is looking at this manually
