Default Banks with multiple saving accounts

Hi folks.

I need advice for which bank to go. That it will allow me to open many savings accounts, which then will be good enough to verify paypal?

Few weeks ago I found that on my Lloyds I can open saving account in minutes and use it for paypal verification, and I tell you it was like a dream...
But then paypal was getting limited quickly because Lloyds share information with paypal if the names on bank acc and paypal match or not.

So can you please advise bank where I can open saving accounts easily and bank will not share information about mismatching names?

Thank you very much for all answers.

Better to use basic cash accounts. Savers at certain banks aren't working as well as they have in the past

It's important for me to use savers because I need quite many of them, when going for this amount of cash accounts wouldn't be the right thing.

Natwest, Nationwide, Barclays, HSBC, they are good to go. You mentioned in this topic that paypal was getting limited quickly because Lloyds share information with paypal. How quick was that? I have 2 account verified with Lloyds but I have removed those Lloyds accounts from my PayPal accounts.

Wow, so you are saying that in all of those banks I can open unlimited amount of saver accounts for free?

With my accounts verified with Lloyds savers it was case of first or second sale to get limited.
Ebay was fine in good working order but paypal was complaining and asking for 2 steps to complete: Bank Verification and Proof of address.

Thank you very much for helpful answer, and I have one more question to you, maybe your bank is tsb? they kinda splitted or sth. Because it is surprising for me that you keep 2 verified acc with Lloyds accounts when over past 2 weeks I was struggling to find a way to keep use of my Lloyds savers.

Unlimited, no. You will want to limit the number of accounts you open with them.

I've got a Halifax account which let me open 5 savers and Santander that let me open 4, not sure if i can or can't open any more I've not yet tried, but they both work very well with paypal so I would recommend you try them out, I use internet banking so take's me about 1 minute to do.

i also opened a savers account with Lloyds tsb which has now been split to tsb and although it's not recommended to use them as they share info it's still working fine and it's on my best account nearly 6 months old.

If you attempt to open lots of accounts too quickly you will find yourself in deep trouble with the banks. They will close ALL your accounts and you will find it VERY difficult to open further accounts anywhere.

.
Do you not understand anything about paypal?

Paypal ask for info about accounts.

All you appear to be doing is racing out making new bank accounts. Maybe take a moment to work how how to do paypal correctly.

Please , please, read the forum to grasp the correct methods.

When adding these Lloyds savers to PP, after you verified the PP, did you remove the savers from the PP or leave them still attached?

That's because Lloyds isn't recommended for stealth and savers aren't the best method....

it was answer for "did you remove the savers from the PP or leave them still attached?"
It was by use of Lloyds saver.

And indeed I opened a natwest saver today and when I tried to verify it got a message something like 'There is a problem with the bank account details you have entered, please add a different bank account ot contact customer service if you want to proceed with this one' Advice please, will there be trouble if I add another bank account, even if it's a stealth proof cash account.

It's best to wait a day or two after opening an account before trying to add it to p/p.

They do not always activate straight away, in fact it is best to also add some funds immediately after opening as this helps 'kick' the system

Just wait a couple of days and try it again. There have also been a few glitches with p/p's system recently with regards to adding bank accounts.

Has anyone had problems linking Yorkshire Bank, Co-op Bank with paypal. I use Natwest and Halifax cash accounts, can't use HSBC or Santander. Not sure about using Barclays and they have a very long account opening interview these days.
