can i link paypal & ebay with different names

hi to all,,

i have a friend who has given me an old ebay acc but cannot use his pp so can i open a new pp under different name and link it to the ebay acc or does the name on ebay and pp have to match?

what if i change the name and address details from the new ebay acc i have been given to my sisters name and address which i will be using for pp etc and then open a pp in her details

Changing names can raise red flags but you say you would have your sister's name to use? Yes that has possibilities,.

Actually - on 2 of my accounts, the PP and EB have totally different names...

Had no probs with these at all.

But generally it is lower risk if the names are the same.

mantisc are these different ebay accounts linked with same paypal ?? i mean not by just sending payments but via link to paypal ebay method ?? as otherwise i have been running more than 10+ ebay accounts with same paypal

I did that for ages (almost 2 years) with no probs (different name on pp/ebay). I doubt it would have ever raised a flag. My accts got closed for other reasons.
