You can just use a UK Entropay for the VCC.
HSBC, Halifax, Natwest, RBS are 4 pretty big banks in the UK. HSBC may be your best option as its international.

I would stay away from HSBC

Just for the amount of attention its getting in the news lately

Read the user agreement. PayPal are in bed with HSBC, I would avoid them solely for this reason really, who knows what they will end up sharing.
