PayPal permanent limited, what will happen with ebay?
 

Hello everyone this is my first post in this forum. now today i got message that my paypal will be closed with £6000 inside... and the reason is too big risk to them. my all incomes to that paypal all account comes 100% from ebay...
is very frustrating as I did everything legal, no dodgy items or ect, all real information ..... just last month payments was increased as more sales and i was doing withdraws in full amount as to pay to my suppliers...
maybe this draw they attention?
Anyway what will future will be with my two ebay accounts as the was using same paypal account... can i try sell without paypal on ebay?
or re-link new paypal account? And which account better to use:
1. I have another name registered paypal business account, but longtime ago one ebay account was blocked using that paypal account
2. I have fresh stealth account not UK regitered
3. or i need to get new uk stealth paypal account?

My both ebays and paypals are uk registered.

P.S. I am still in big shock after seeing my £6000 frozen for 180 days :(

Welcome to the forums.

I have long advised to REALLY avoid using the same pp to receive money and buy stock...it looks bad to PP.

The future of your eb accounts is still up in the air - I have had eb accounts survive without the pp....you would need to consider other forms of payment like Propay, Paymate and Skrill.

Recommended building new stealth accounts right away.

Need to start a new ebay/paypal stealth. May aswell link your other business paypal to the ebay account if you don't need it, make sure you don't keep any money in there though

so if i understand right better do not use same any paypal accounts with this ebay accounts?
is advisable to cancel links in ebay with PP account or just leave it?

Some people HAVE been able to replace a PayPal account and hood it up to an existing eBay account, but they are few and far between.

All merchant account processors here in the US start looking at accounts very closely when you start selling $5,000 per month or more, they are concerned about risk. You are in the UK, but I am sure they have something similar in place there. Since you mentioned you items were all legit, customers happy, etc. I am guessing they may have looked at your credit report and did not like what they saw.

Stealth is the answer, as is spreading your sales over several accounts. If you have ONE eBay account, they can close down your entire business. If you have TEN eBay accounts, then they can only shut down 10% of your business.

Many, many people have lost accounts this way, it is not just counterfeiters and con-artists who lose accounts.

ok i see, my story was that when ebay change policy how performance was counting. I messed up and got under performance status. now i have put a lot effort to bring it back to normal again and started sell much more expensive items and paypal put on hold on review after few weeks even if showed ll real invoices, sorted all open case on ebay (they just limited) in email they said that i can appeal but when i called them they said is a final decision.

Yes will start new stealth accounts. and current ebay i will try to use with different paypal accounts.

so to clarify if i use my old business paypal account which long time ago was linked with other ebay account and that account was banned. so my this current ebay accounts ebay will block straight away? or there is chance to sneak through?

no it should last a while, do that while you start other accounts

while i was unlinking one account they blocked another one and after 1 h of course another so conclusion papal was blocked and after 1 day all ebay accounts related to it

nice bit on interest 6k will bring into the PP coffers.. thats the thing with them and their not so distant cousin.. everything can be going well and they hit you out the blue..legit or not legit they dont discriminate

From my own experience - Paypal permanently limited one of my accounts. I had another ebay account which was linked to my limited paypal account so i created a new paypal under a family members name and that was destroyed too. It lasted a while though, but cant be so sure!

I experienced a similar story so now spread sales over numerous PP accounts to keep the receiving amounts in each account under control.. I like to keep well under 1k a month on each account.

Start new eBay+PayPal, because this eBay won't last long even if you will attach other PayPal..
