The problem is it then gets abused and stops being a no 21 day hold country.

Its also less than ideal as a country to use

Re: 21 day loophole

Its no big secret and you can google for that info.
Its pointless though because youll need to register the ebay account in the same country and its just impractical to try to sell as if youre situated in that country.

this is because it is possible the country wont matter to OP since they tend to sell items they dont have :attention:

I know selling on my UK accounts, if you add tracking to the orders, it gets your payment released in 5 days.. if you cannot this amount of time then SOMETHING is up or smells fishy..

Ditto

If you cannot get by for 5 days without the money from sold items then the business plan has a serious flaw in it!

I think sellers that drop-ship are more concerned with the holds, and I think that's why this question always comes up.

Instant reinvestment for people with little funds as well.

The top 2 criers of the 21 day holds are:
1. Digital Item Sellers
2. People who some how feel they are special

Re: 21 day loophole

you can decrease 7 days holds as follows:

- After you send digital item to buyer. you click on transaction details, go to "Edit transaction info" and choose "Order processed" , if you don't have any dispute from buyer, your funds will be released in 7 days.

Re: 21 day loophole

Theres another category of sellers - those who are not legit.
I can see how any scammer would want to have their stolen funds available the second they are received. And I am not implying anything about anyone (including OP). Just saying.

Re: 21 day loophole

Get 100 seller feedback and your 21 day holds are pretty much gone.
I have a account where they still tell me its 21 day hold, but never happens. I have been using this account foe Bonanza only for 6-7yrs. SMH

Only scammers try to find loopholes and take advantage of them.

In this instance these are users who totally miscalculate what paypal will do when the accounts run into trouble.

Already been told of a couple not associated with here whose funds are not going to be released

UAE is one, not sure if that's what these guys are talking about. Have fun OP - but it's not long term by miles and a poor choice if this becomes part of your plan.

Cue the 180 day money held thread.

Cue the 180 day money held thread.

Exactly. You have 180 day holds almost instantly per transaction compared to 21 days.
And that 180 days can easily become a gift to paypal if you can not prove your identity.
blackhat is a great place to read about these situations.

Do they still require you to prove or upload documents after the 180days wait? FAAARK!!!

Re: 21 day loophole

Yes they can do. And they can choose to not accept them and to keep the money themselves

This time last year, paypal UK had a purge.

Caught many a stealth user and pocketed heaps of funds.
Many accounts were strong money earners too

:tears:
