| | | mirza93 | 05-23-2016 08:57 PM | Paypal Withdrawal issues I made a withdrawal on 3 seperate paypal accounts which usually go to completed right away. however, this time it went to pending and I received an email saying:
We are processing your withdrawal.
i thought fair enough but then i received the same email from them twice in 20 minute intervals. Weird?
It went to 'completed' but now it's not showing up on my bank. One of the accounts are with a different bank so i don't think it's an internal bank issue.
Anyone else currently having the same problem? Think I might be paranoid and fingers crossed the money shows up later. |
Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Im not too sure what's happened, im sure someone will share their wisdom. But with Paypal, its best to just be patient. The money cant just disappear, it must be somewhere. Just give it 24 hours, and check your balance again before you start to worry. |
Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Hope for the best for you mirza93 - personally I think you are paranoid just because of the delay....so long as the money comes in, you're gtg. |
| mirza93 | 05-24-2016 04:30 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Thanks guys..I just checked the transaction details of the withdrawal. Normally in the 'transfer to' box, it says the bank account number but this time it's blank :?
Also, it seems like I'm not the only one |
| Welbs | 05-24-2016 04:33 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Same here - transfer to blank....
2 sep withdrawals on 2 sep accounts and both pending? |
| Welbs | 05-24-2016 04:35 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Has anybody called pp yet? |
| just_smile | 05-24-2016 04:52 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Same here.
Another paypal glitch it would seem. |
| Bunneh | 05-24-2016 05:17 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues I have the same issue.
Paypal servers, networks or systems were down last night. (or longer)
Apparently its fixed now, and now all the withdrawals are processing and are in a queue to hit banks.
New withdrawals might also go into queue until all old withdraws are completed. |

| infoguru | 05-24-2016 08:23 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Not sure whats going on, did someone check with Paypal? I have the same issue, first it said would take 3-4 working days on paypal, received 3 emails saying its in process will receive soon, then it says completed but its been a few hours without any luck in seeing the funds in my bank account?
Its usually an instant thing from withdrawal to reflection on bank account. |

Its usually an instant thing from withdrawal to reflection on bank account. | Welcome to the forums - in general, these kind of glitches have to be waited out - no sense in checking with PP and wasting your time with CS Reps who might know even less what's going. |

Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues i notices on almost all my UK accounts, they are now saying to withdraw i need to go to the classic site instead... I go to it and it asks me to verify account via receiving an automated call.... Is this a glitch?
I dont have access to every number from every acc...
Please note ,i have withdrawn from all these account before without any issues... |
| mikeh31 | 05-24-2016 09:37 AM | did you get anywhere with this?
about 6 of my withdrawals from last night/early morning today did this and I also got that weird email I've never seen before.
I made two withdrawals recently and they went through fine.
Still waiting on those earlier withdrawals and no nothing on 'payment to' field in transactions.
Been trying to contact pp all day and they're utterly useless.
any answers yet? still waiting on a few but made some recently that went through fine!
Really frustrating, |
| Welbs | 05-24-2016 11:08 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Stil nothing on my 2 withdrawLs from this morning

| Bunneh | 05-24-2016 11:39 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues I have also tried a further withdrawal and it went through fine. |
| Welbs | 05-24-2016 11:46 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Has anyone spoke to pp about this |
| infoguru | 05-24-2016 12:54 PM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues No luck yet, not sure where the money is, definitely not with my bank as they have no reason to hold funds. |
| Welbs | 05-24-2016 01:05 PM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Stil naff all in my bank accs!!! If not in by tom morning im give em the dreaded phone call |
| Bunneh | 05-24-2016 06:23 PM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Looks like the withdrawal has been cancelled (the first one i did which had issues) and funds returned to my paypal account. |
| GreenBean | 05-24-2016 06:39 PM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Bunneh,
Which bank, and what part of the UK is the branch?
:spy: |
| stuartalex | 05-24-2016 06:52 PM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues I'm so glad I'm not the only one.
Each of my 2 transfers generated 3 emails - odd in itself.
On the transaction details no bank account is listed although if you view it on the classic site the bank details are there.
Now tonight, 24 hours after the 2 transfers I've received the funds back in my paypal account along with an email for each one.
The email has the title "we cannot complete your withdrawal" but then the message is :
"Dear (my name...."
and then the rest is blank.
I've hastily sent all the funds to a friend so he can transfer them to my bank.
He did a transfer from his PP account to his bank earlier and it was instant as is usual for him.
I had a similar problem a few weeks ago although the money did get to the bank after several days. I've never had withdrawals fail like this before.
I've been using the same bank account for well over a year but the name on it does not match my paypal name so I did wonder if they'd suddenly started asking for names -which I think they do if the transfer is FROM the bank and not TO.
Really glad to get confirmation this must be either a technical glitch or one massive stealth account crackdown. Hopefully not the latter |
| digger | 05-24-2016 08:37 PM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Ive got the same 3 emails when withdrew funds to my halifax bank, then just got the very strange / vague "we could not complete your transfer" email.
Normally all ok.. |
| mirza93 | 05-24-2016 09:12 PM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Update guys:
So they returned all our funds back but if you withdraw again, it should be fine. Just tried it on my account and it went through :)
What are you like Paypal? |
| digger | 05-24-2016 09:26 PM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Same as mirza here,
checked paypal and it was back in there, re-withdrew it and its landed in my bank.
We should be able issue paypal with a suspension notice! Do not pass go do not collect 200 pounds. |
| infoguru | 05-25-2016 12:56 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Okay, I got a withdrawal could not completed email, a refund, withdrew again, and instantly landed in my account. Thanks everyone for sharing similar issues and reporting the outcome. |
| Haidukken | 05-25-2016 01:11 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Morning!
So there I was, tossing and turning because I couldn't sleep this morning. I picked up my phone to check my emails and I received two emails from Paypal, telling me that the bank transfers couldn't be completed.
****.
I'm just in the middle of expanding my business and I have invested a lot in my stock and in general this month I have invested more than usual into my business setup.
****.
I thought: "Here we go again, back to square one" and I was already thinking what should I do to make this all go away(Read: I was thinking how quickly can I email James for help).
So now I read this, and all my worries have gone away... Seems like its an PP glitch and other people have same problems, but it also seems that Paypal is slowly processing payments again.
Success.
This is why I love this forum: When there are major changes, glitches or events I can only count of you little sausages to spread the word and talk about it.
Can you imagine if I was alone out there? Nobody to talk to, nobody to learn from... Nobody to ask help from.
I'd be... I'd be lost without you guys.
Thanks. |

| Bunneh | 05-25-2016 03:53 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues no havent withdrawn today, but sounds like a few people have tried with success. |
| mattyc16 | 05-25-2016 04:57 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues I have also had this problem with one of my accounts, were the withdrawal had failed and the amount was deposited back into the Paypal account from my bank account. Does this mean the account will be banned, as they have now seen the name differs? Or is this just a reversal and they haven't taken any funds from my bank account as it never was received there? I'm completely confused at the moment, if anyone could shed some light on the matter please. |

Your bank wasnt the reason the withdrawal failed (ie funds returned) it was a paypal issue, so they would not even have connected to the bank and wouldnt have seen the different names.
Also paypal will only see your real name, if someone at paypal does a manual review of your account. |
| mattyc16 | 05-25-2016 05:34 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Thanks for clearing this up and sharing the information about the manual review. Has made my day after such a scare this morning :D |
| welshdan | 05-25-2016 05:57 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues I had this on two accounts, had the paypal email stating that withdrawal was being processed. Funds have been returned by both banks. Wonder whats going on?? |
| welshdan | 05-25-2016 05:59 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues ok, quick update, I have just managed to withdraw a very small amount on one of these accounts, it has cleared instantly? maybe was a pp glitch?? |
| Haidukken | 05-25-2016 07:41 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Seems like PP are having time of their lives... I'll just keep away from it till the end of the week and hope by then everything has been fixed. |

| Haidukken | 05-25-2016 09:14 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawal issues Luckily this is happening after the weekend sales- I got most of my money out on Saturday/Sunday and whats left are the payments that always happen few days after the weekend- Silly Greek sausages who want to negotiate postage prices and other lowlife scumbags.
I think I've only got around £400 between all my accounts, so its all good.
Still, ****ing annoying. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:19 PM. | |
