Default Current auctions taking me over the limit

I'm about £600 away from reaching my receiving limit and I'm anticipating my current set of auctions to take me over or very close to that limit.

Will I still be able to receive payments at the end of the week, even I go over the limit while payments are coming in? Will anybody trying to pay get refused?

And shall I wait until they ask for documents before sending them in or do it now before they they're requested?

Thanks guys!

In my experience, if your auction bring im more money than your selling limits allow, you still are able to receive payment for the items. You just cant add any additional items till next month. That was experience from usa accounts going over $50-$100.

You will still be able to get paid. PayPal will limit the account if you go over the limit though until you provide them with the documents that they require which means you wont be able to withdraw

OP is asking for advice on UK Paypal receiving limit which is nothing to do with ebay selling limits.

@OP, in my opinion, once you pass £1650, stop selling, remove as much money from Paypal as you can and then get the documents submitted.

Thanks everybody, documents are in. Just praying now.

Quick question - I know you shouldn't call PayPal as a rule. But in this case, would calling them be beneficial? Maybe to 'force' an adviser to take a quick look and approve/decline (hopefully approve?).

Or is it safer to sit back and wait for the email?

Also - (sorry for all the questions!).

Does it matter that this is not registered as a business account? The reason for the increase in sales that took me over the limit was because I changed my product to something more popular.

I had planned on changing to a business but hadn't got around to it. Should I change to being a 'sole trader' now? Or wait until the docs are reviewed?

I have no patience in these situations - I just wanna know what PayPal are going to do!😝

Paypal will only take 1-2 days to review them. Just sit tight.

No need for a business account unless it benefits you.

I know, I just hear about these things dragging on for weeks sometimes. It's now been 4 days.

I had planned to list again this weekend but is it safe to sell just yet, or should I wait until they've made their decision?
