ebay managed payments and blocked account
 

ebay is asking sellers to provide ownership information for their new payment system. Our problem is that the owner of our company was blocked from selling on ebay 9 years ago. In response, we created a new ebay account with a new contact person, but kept the owner's name / company on paypal- and ebay apparently never checked it / cared. We've had the new store for 9 years.

My question is - has enough time elapsed where we'd be ok entering the blocked owner's name for our current company when registering for ebay's new payment system.

You will have to enter the owners name, address, company name, EIN and SSN when signing up for managed payments, and that name will have to match the name on the bank account / also address.

Ebay is letting users pre-register for the July managed payment release.

I was previously blocked and use all real info. But, I did move to another state so there is a lot of new info I was able to use.
eBay never had my social security number before. I had to give it for managed payments

MP replaces Paypal,it needs your SSN to send you a 1099K if your sales exceed 200 transactions and $20K.
