USA MP do credit checks?

I was wondering if anyones knows if USA MP does soft credit checks to confirm info?

No but they have other ways of confirming if an identity is real or not.

You cannot use a stealth name on US MP accounts. They match your SSN with the information that you provide. It's an identity check (not a credit check). It's performed by EVERY credit card processor (Adyen and everyone else) and all banks. Also, your mismatched name on your bank account will never fly.
This has been discussed on these forums dating back to last year when people first were signing up, yet so many are still having a hard time grasping what they need to do:
Here's a rundown: (US accounts)
Enter your real name, real DOB and real SSN number.
Link your real bank account (it'll match your real name)
You don't need to change other details.
It's quick, it's easy and it's your ONLY option.
One more note: If you're thinking about going to a MP business account, they still need your SSN, Name and DOB..... an EIN alone will not cut it.

Stealth info seems to be a problem but mismatching does actually work if done right.

USA eBay Stealth is dead now with managed payments, if you are banned from eBay then the only stealth solution is to use a friend or relatives id with there permission and look after the account.

In the mean time you can open and use stealth accounts until eBay goes fully MP from opening a sellers account and then it may be like Amazon who knows.
