Default VERO - Large amount of recent takedowns

There seems to be a big VERO crackdown on a lot of the VERO items I'm selling, anyone else experiencing such issues?

Remarkably, I've been unmolested by VeRO for a few months. I've been using every trick I know, and making up a few new ones too.

yes, you will get takedowns, you will discover which are occasionals and which are no- nos, some things are not worth messing with. After a takedown let you account rest for 3 months from any vero item.

Also for the last few months it seems that violations are now marked to last 12 months on seller dashboards rather than the previous 3?

Do you guys find much difference between using 3 & 5 day listings? Appart from one lasting 2 days longer than the other of course

My own observation is that shorter listing times for really tasty items - draws attention. I can't say it's a blanket issue, but on my own previous listings and reviewing my notes, the data says shorter is worser.

The last violation I had only lasted 3 months. But again, I haven't had any for a while now.

Very seldom do a 3 day listing except for the holidays. Depends on the item. Like to tempt fate with the Sunday night endings

I've had to do a few title changes to get away with 3 day listings, most of the vero takedowns i've gotten have "listed item for 3 days" or sumthin with similar wording.. 3 accounts but no suspensions, just 7 day restrictions..

Vero has been pretty lenient on a sellers account(s). The listing length definitely contributes to the sellers success.

It seems then the length of time is variable depending on the specific violation.

However all my policy breaches are showing for 12 months.

Shill bidding
Feedback manipulation

Some Vero hits (obviously not all from what other posters have said). I rarely get Vero takedowns because of what I sell. But I have got some on a couple of my accounts from selling goods outside my usual range. 1 dropped off after 12 months the other 2 are still there 7 months and 10 months in.

Would anyone recomend listing an item for 1 day but using about 10 in quantity? If it gets taken down then is that only 1 strike against you or 10?

Sometimes, 3 may get taken down today instead of all 10, and the rest later - that's at least 2 strikes. Don't do it.

Once I did that and only a few were taken down and the rest we left alone to have winning bidders. VERO watchers are so crazy sometimes/all the time.
