I'm only after one account since the first one is suspended.
I have already a router,I just needed a bit of clearing with the IP which vicvelcro did explain

for sharing my experience purpose I have received a reply from the vero saying they haven't requested any suspension from ebay, now I'm puzzled I've contacted ebay again with the vero reply.....wait and see.

Vero has no authority to request suspension of any eBay account. That's eBay's thing.

It's weird then,I wasn't selling any goods related to the vero concerned.

I had terrible experience,I sold non genuine Gillette blade without me realising they weren't genuine, police raided my house, taken to court, paid fine and that was over 2 years ago,my account wasn't suspended then and it is the same vero's details I was given by ebay.

I was told by the vero that they haven't requested any listing to be romoved nor that I was selling anything to do with Gillette.

I don't know how ebay works,my ebay account was perfect
Policy compliance:High
Buyer satisfaction:Good
Account status:Current

I wonder if ebay will lift the suspension or am I just wasting my time with them

I would like to share my experience so others can learn from it.
This is ebay message:MC013
Your account has been suspended for indefinitely for the following reason:

Reports of offering multiple counterfeit items by Procter & Gamble Company.

We don't know exactly why the request to end the listing was made or how
to avoid having the listing ended again at the request of the rights
owner. The owner is not required to provide any specific information
about how the listing infringes. Often, the listing may seem fine to us.
However, when we receive a properly documented Notice of Claimed
Infringement, we are required by federal law to end the listing.

That's why we recommend that you contact the VeRO participant directly
with your questions and concerns.

and here's vero message:
1)Dear Sir,
I have looked into your query and can confirm that we have not recently reported any of your listings on eBay.

It is highly likely therefore that this relates to a Trading Standards matter in 2007 concerning counterfeit Gillette goods.

As such you will need to query your account directly with eBay.

firstly lets get one thing straight, everyone knows where their goods come from and therefore the likelihood of them being copies, so we arent stupid here.. you sold f..e mac3 and knew it..

you must be very unlucky or gilette is very litigious, how much gilette stuff did you sell, must have been alot on many accounts, jeez going to court in UK, thats big, they normally cant get their act together to do that...

Doubt you can register again under your own details. it will have to be stealth, or a relatives details (if the goods are ok)

I bought about a 1000 of Gillette,I started selling them on ebay after a while I realised there isn't much profit on them on ebay,it was abvious afterward other sellers were selling counterfeit one, hence the price.

I purchased them genuinely thinking I'm in the clear,I didn't even think people would go to that extent and make counterfeit blade, they may as well create their own,as they looked good.

So I decided to flog them as wholesale item.I invited to my living room an undercover agent works for Procter & Gamble,I told the judge why would I invite anybody amongst my family if I was aware selling non genuine goods.

the next thing two vans full of police raided my house with a door ram,I was never even being stopped by the police before let alone got arrested and the irony I was in process that time to join the police.

ended up in court pleaded my case, offered to show them the guy who sold me the goods, the police weren't interested.

I honestly couldn't give fiddle fart if you believe or not,the judge believed me that's all matter to me.

#8 is really sleep deprived. It is not the point about the items & their origin, it is the fact we are trying to determine how and why the user got this suspension.

If it is from something that happened months ago, then has any thought of being given of possible repercussions for those who have had vero take downs. Nudge, nudge, ompappa

agreed about the suspension thing..I always try to help with advice if I can....

I was trying to make a point about forum members saying they sold something f..e, without their knowledge, Id rather they didnt insult us with that old chestnut, we almost always know what goods are by virtue of where they came from...with the occasional exception, eg. bought from a relative in good faith scenario or an unwanted gift....the judge believed him, good, I mean that, the OP paid a higher than normal price than most, so its good they gave the benefit of the doubt. I sympathise with the trauma and would hate to go through it myself. I dont even think it is particularly wrong to sell that sort of thing, as long as its priced accordingly. Loads of forumers sell f..e stuff..

As for vero takedowns, I get them, and I know exactly which goods are what...Ive never said any different on this forum.......

come here and say Im sleep deprived..when I have given my unanimous opinion, who is going to contradict me, nobody, thats who!!

I'm not looking for sympathy here,I mentioned my story merely to give a background to the suspension and other members here learn from my ordeal.

Any sane person wouldn't invite somebody to their living room amongst his kids to sell f*kes stuff.

I personally don't like to sell f*ke stuff, even worse if the buyer isn't aware and that's wrong.

what surprise me after two years, never heard from the company again or even been suspended that time by ebay, suddenly eaby decided to suspend my account.

whatever the reason for suspension, as you say its probably related, maybe ebay felt the heat, the company gillette wouldnt get involved with you after a failed court attempt, they have others to chase...

In order to move on, you will need to go for a new account and follow all forum procedures inc. flash objects and cookies cleaned, new or dynamic ip etc, as for your personal details, a variation of your name and address is a possibility or a completely new one...

there is no reason why this event should stop your ebay ventures...I lost all my accounts too, couple of years back, I was up and running again within a month, from then on I built up multiple accounts with no suspensions since....

They haven't failed,I paid a fine, the judge believed me that I purchased the stuff in good faith, but I admitted I had in possession counrtfeit goods.

the fines was reduced from £3000+ to £800

After emailing ebay 3 times,I recieved a negative reply:
"We understand that you may feel that the decision to suspend your
account was unjustified and we take your concerns very seriously. We've
reviewed your account details again, and I'm afraid that our original
decision still stands. We won't be able to reinstate your account for
you. "

I realised I have no hope reinstating my account, live and learn.....move on
