How do they get away with it?
I was going to just add this question to a previous thread, but when I got to the end I saw it was closed.
I got a hold of a single copy of Rosetta Stone (stupid, I know) and have tried on 3 different accounts to sell it and it has gotten yanked after varying survival times on all three.
First question is, I didn't get an alert or green highlighted notification in "My Messages" so does that qualify for a Vero strike?
Secondly, I have scoured over dozens of completed listings to see how they are being listed and making it through the system and am trying to do the same.
Some are obvious phakes, even coming out of China. Others if you check their feedback it shows them selling 3 or 4 of them a week and nothing else on accounts only a month old. Almost half of the completed sales were on accounts with feeback scores of less than 5...many with (0)
There was even one guy that had a feed back score of 2 who was selling one and stated that it was a Christmas gift for a planned trip that never happened...his other 2 feed backs were for the same item with the same story...how does this guy keep doing it?
I'm thinking that maybe mine got reported by competitors vs actual Rosetta Stone, especially since the accounts have no "Alerts" in My Messages
the pic that I have used is one I took of the original box (from a national retailer) not a stock photo and I put very little in my description other than what was included...the same as all of the ones that had sold.
