Ebay & Vero Lawyers

Thought I would give this a try and see if I could get some useful insight out of this

I have an overwhelming amount of P90x I need to get rid of and eBay is looking like my only outlet after they are gone i'm done with Beachbody and there BS. I understand all the risks but I have a stealth account in a business partners name and the address at the office they work. They understand all the risks also but one thing they dont want is a letter from an attorney coming to their office.


With that being said I have bought and read over the Ebay Stealth Book but It doesnt have a clear answer on this. If I change the Ebay and PP registration address to somewhere else what address will Ebay give the VeRO lawyers? The billing address for the bank account thats linked to PP (Same as the office) Or do they send all there BS scare tactic letters to the virtual address?

The majority of the letters that they send out are scare tactics. Very rarely do the actually file lawsuits.

I totally understand that but the fact is we dont want the letter going to our office because its one big box. Out of over 100 people working there we dont need a letter from a Copyright attorney going to the office...

I wouldn't use that address then. Use any address, just don't have any mail sent to it.

I wouldn't even try eBay. You could try selling them in bulk on craigslist if you have A LOT. You're not going to be making the $80-$100 like you would on eBay but, it's better than having to worry about all the legal issues. Depending on where you are craigslist is a very good way to get rid of inventory fast.

If you must sell on eBay you could hide the listing from P90X themselves by listing the item in different ways and avoiding them sending letters at all. Maybe something like "Extreme Home Fitness P 90 X" or use the P90X as ²P²90²X². This isn't guaranteed to work, but it's better than nothing. You also gotta realize that you run the chance of getting you're account suspended.

As for the address, unless someone has been in your exact situation there is no way of knowing. Your best bet is to call up eBay and ask them yourself. Not about the P90X or whatever just ask what address do they give out for legal matters.

Dont sell the items. Dont ask for the work-around
