Now that was an interesting read, but I am sure the last times I was setting up ebay asked me to link to a verified paypal account when I started listing my first item on each new account, which was not vero or anything suspect.

But maybe I missed something?

isitworththestress, that's very strange that ebay as you so.., you should open PP and EB, sell. Verify your phone...choose how to pay the fee...thats it

^ it depends whether the account details match the elec reg whether it allows you to do this.

But like ive said many times listing VeRo on accounts without verified paypal is asking for trouble.

I'll try it out a few times and see what happens, not as if it is costing anything.

isitworththestress , you have to understand EB and PP mentality, you are a complete stranger for them, how they will know if you are a good seller or you a hit and run seller.
What they can check:
1- some of your hardware.
2- Name
3- Address
4- phone number
5- behavior
6- card or bank account you are using

you take care of those keys and you should be ok

One tiny mistake, you are out!!!, but if you want to beat them, take them seriously and I mean it seriously

I have never really worried about ebay paypal security, as it is all just for appearance rather than to have a real purpose. Just too many holes in their security for it to be anything else.

And I have made a few of those stupid mistakes in my time and all they do is make it easier the next time.

I agree with you, but you need to understand one thing, EB and PP system is handling 10000000000 per sec, there is a chance that the system not detect you from the first time, ( if you did any tiny mistake ) but I am sure it will get the next time, My point is make it easy for yourself and do not depend on the system errors or holes, make everything right.

it depends on the brand.

some brands you will be able to list...others you will not be able to unless your verified.
