vero items

unverifed paypal and vero items, is it possible to list??

EGYfromhell 08-15-2011 04:44 AM

Ohhh yes, I do that all the time, but ppl here might disagree with me coz they do not try it

Ebayorbust 08-15-2011 05:30 AM

Depends on which country you are in. You need a verified pp account to sell on ebay.co.uk . Any attempt to list without this usually gets hit with a registration suspension and a request for docs.

Strange, I never had a verified UK PP and I am selling after verifying my telephone number

bigbill 08-15-2011 06:00 AM

I can also confirm that it is possible to sell VERO with a non verified PP.

GREEN LION 08-15-2011 06:09 AM

its possible in ebay uk if you are selling up to 5 item anything more you need to verify or you'll raise flag witch ends to suspension.

rsot 08-15-2011 06:21 AM

But with the unverified pp, don't you find your accounts don't last as long?

EGYfromhell 08-15-2011 06:24 AM

Actually it last, that is my case,

jbluntz 08-15-2011 06:35 AM

I've been listing with unverified paypals ever since I started, how long it lasts has to do with other reasons if you need a verified paypal ebay will tell you then you can purchase a VBA in that case.

GREEN LION 08-15-2011 06:37 AM

actually i misunderstood. you are right, you need to verify your pp to sell on ebay uk.

Imakemoney 08-15-2011 06:41 AM

Look guys this is simple. In the UK its hard enough to sell VeRo on a verified paypal never mind a non verified one... your just wasting your accounts really doing this and beside when its unverified the limit is £650 so your not going to be making much money!

jbluntz 08-15-2011 06:45 AM

I feel sorry for UK people then, that sounds pretty harsh..

Imakemoney 08-15-2011 06:47 AM

From my experiments after 2-3 listings ebay ask for docs when attempting this.

jbluntz 08-15-2011 06:55 AM

From my experience in the US listing vero for your first 2-3 listings can result in getting asked for docs but listing safe items for your first few listings doesn't, then after that you can list vero but then again it still depends on what type of vero, verified or not.

EGYfromhell 08-15-2011 06:56 AM

This is 100% not right, first, I am selling from UK accounts, always not verified, and it works fine,,,PS, I never had a 650 sending limit, my accounts start with 1000 up to 1900 before verifications, Anyone from UK, use a new PC and new internet connection, rightXXX name and XXX address and right XXX phone and you will see that I am right, Now I am 100% sure that I am right, there are many things in the PC should be covered before you can create new PP or EB otherwise you will get limitation or 650 sending limit.

For any user how is using USB dongle, let me know and tell you how you can hide it, yes some of the USB dongle has NO MAC address but it has generic volume.

Imakemoney 08-15-2011 06:58 AM

I guess we all have our own experiences EGYfromhell but I'll stick to my methods :bounce:

Yep, this is my findings to.

As I said in my original post, it all depends on which eBay site you list on.

EGYfromhell 08-15-2011 08:19 AM

Alrighty:) do not use my way :)

JRYAN34 08-15-2011 08:54 AM

i hope you get the boot, along with every possible hassle

Littlemorestealth 08-15-2011 01:37 PM

When we talk about verified are we talking bank account verified or ID verified?

Also, if the account has no bank attached, how do you get the money out? There would be a flag if there was a few sitting there banking all the money....surely?

BTW Bluntz that post on VM was very good the other day. Thats the type of stuff I like to read on here.

We're talking about bank verified, in the US when you list certain items ebay will tell you to verify your paypal before you can complete the listing which hardly ever happens for me which is why I don't need one to start selling.

Also there's other things to do with the money besides withdraw, you can buy stuff or send it to another paypal which is why they have a send button in every paypal then once you reach your sending limits then you'll need to add a bank or VBA.

Glad you liked the VM thread can't remember which one it was, must of been an older one.

oompaloompa 08-15-2011 02:03 PM

there are ways in UK to verify but not withdraw, so I agree buying stock is a big reason to have one of these paypals.
