Default Listing taken down, can i sell similar or is prev. sold checked?

Hi,
I was recently selling some items that, with hindsight, were clearly dodgy. IE- In my listing i put '5 DVDs compressed in 1'. They were eventually taken down (1 week's ban) after i foolishly listed on the USA ebay too, where i learned that the rights holder was obviously more 'alert'. This resulted in the items being taken down on the UK ebay too.

My question is this time im hoping to sell the items un-compressed so to speak, as if they are the real deal. By that, i mean that the listing will be exactly the same as the legit items.
My question is will the rights owner/ebay automatically check my 'previosly sold' items and then take them down again please?

Don't be silly, you would do better to just send Ebay an email saying is it OK to sell counterfeit - you're the reason I would never buy a dvd from Ebay

yes do not sell it on the same acc, and if you do sell it elsewhere make sure it is good quality and reasonably priced, alot of people are ok with them but you will get complaints otherwise.

So you think they do check 'previously sold'?

Cool the account off.. Don't use it. You're a slip away from losing it..

Preferably a month or a few weeks until all that "resets" back to normal. As others say, your gonna have to start using another account for at least now until then.

Hi, thanks for that. It has been nearly 4 weeks.

Unfortunately in my seller dashboard i have this message: Avoid violating this policy again and your account will be clear of this violation after 09-Apr-12.

Yep. You are hoovering on the brink.

Rest the account for at least 90 days.

Engage the brain and find something else to sell.

See which works better in the long term

Just to note although this drops off your account, it 'stays' on the record for the most part. In 12 months time, if you are still fussing about with such listings, ebay might consider you a risk.

Define happiness?

Customers being happy OR buel having no account
