Default Item removed

Hi all, I had an item removed today. It was a iphone rear cover replacement with the apple logo on it. I ordered it from China so can imagine its not OEM.

I notice from the price other sell them at that they are also ordering from China. Why was mine removed and not theirs?

I have 400 feedback from sales and no flags on my account as I don't usually sell any branded phone components.

Any tips to list again? Maybe use a stock photo? Wait a few months?

Did ebay tell you why it was removed. What was the notice number?

Trademark infringement then, which means its because it has the Apple logo on it. Don't list that item again and you will be fine so long as you get no more MC109's

Might have something to do with how you worded the item title?

As VERO/ Branded items are tricky to list most of the time.

The title was
Black Iphone 4 4G Glass Casing Battery Housing Door Cover Replacement

Didn't use apple in the title, thought it might be ok seen as theres a good few sellers selling them. Maybe its because I undercut the cheapest seller in ebay.ie, may have looked to cheap.

Could I open a 2nd account with same details and do it or would I need to a stealth acc? Kinda stuck with stock now, it was flying out too :(

Would need to be a new stealth, new PP, new everything. Would need a new price as well, new description, new photos, you get the picture. It is high risk selling something that can get VEROd though on a new account, would be better to build account up over a few months and try. Would be even better to sell via a source other than EB.

Thanks for the info.

Just noticed that the white version of my item is still available:

Should I remove it before they do or leave it?

Its weird that they don't look at your acc and remove all, must be computerized as they removed some auctions on me initially and left the BIN's

Need to post a warning before any EB link on the forum, they can be dangerous. Edit the last post and type 'Warning, eBay Link' or something to that effect in large letters.

A lot of EB is automated. If an item just like it has been removed, sooner or later the BIN will be, so I would do it myself before they do.

Behave!

Why would you put your own listing on open forum

Simply speaking you can not relist this item IF you value your account.

Ignore what other sellers are doing. ( ebay may be about to kill them).

Avoid damage to yourself.

I've just noticed that the other sellers have basically put writing over the apple logo and iphone writing (even though its clear is been doctered). Would I have any chance just doing with they're doing or just to risky now because of my account.

Here's the analogy I have used before:

Would you put your hand on a hot fire if you knew it was bad?

Relate that to your current situation.

Good Luck.

(Hope you do not get too badly burned)

It is probably better to not list it again, your account will be flagged now and you could loose the account if you keep re-listing the same items after they have been pulled.

The many mysteries of selling VeRo. Get experimenting - make new accounts - learn from the sellers - over time, perhaps you will have success. Best of luck

This 400 feedback account is flagged. x3 strikes and it ends.

Yours to kill however.
