 This is how Vero programme can spoil us all
This is something to reflect on about how the VERO programme can kill us.
I was selling a particular household item in small quantities. 1 listing got removed and an MC999 came in few months back. Fine, it is from a company, they provided their email and domain name etc. So I stopped selling them.
Subsequently another Vero came in today for the same product. For 1 listing listed many moons ago and this time from another company. Guess what - they listed their corporate email with a gmail account.
Subsequently, I did a search - and it seems this mickey mouse company is in a patent tussle with the larger company, and the issue is still unresolved.
Small sellers like us will always lose it to ebay under the vero program. Seems like anyone can claim vero and start killing off sellers. No consideration was given on the claim and if the vero owner has real right to file the claim.
So, my fellow sellers, it is a jungle out there - players who prefer to spend time shuffling paperwork, filing vero and/or ph@ke patents are calling the shots or could even be a competitor bent on destroying sellers by filing ph@ke VERO
Long story short, I was slapped with a 7-day suspension today (this for a listing made months ago and which I have stopped selling). This is for an account that is powerseller, trusted seller, 2007 account with 1200++ feedback.
Amazing isn't it
