Default Brand name misuse

I sell a product that serves as a mount for other products . My listing usually is " 5 inch blank mount fits brand x, brand y' brand z"

I have had no trouble with this. A newer account just got hit with a brand name misuse notice from eBay and a 3 day suspension. I have other accts that I do this on and they've never been bothered. The one thing I noticed was on this listing instead of putting 'fits' I put 'for' ....not sure if the matters.

Am I not allowed to put names of the products that my item works on in the title?

This is the same thing as selling 3rd party i/Phone accessories or any other big brand accessories. Dangerous categories to be in. This is something that only you can really test out to see what works. Others may be able to offer advice, but the fact is that you are using the actual brand to help sell the product, therefore some will see that as infringement.

No way.

The IP rights holder will object and thus your listings get pulled.

Really fruity types search all the time for listings like you are describing.

Apporach with caution if you like your stealth account.
