Activity: 0% Longevity: 58% | | Should i start selling apple chargers?: not if I am sensible
I was looking up items that sell quickly and I found out that Ipod, iphone, ipad, etc...chargers sell fast and i would make thousands in the first month (which would be enough to start my ebay business off and expand into other products).
Only concern is of the buyers safety because i have heard that chargers have caught on fire before (i don't want to hurt anybody) i also heard some chargers broke the buyers devices so the seller had to buy them new ones (i don't even have the money to buy a phone for someone so this is my other concern).
I am aware that chinese sellers sell ⊗⊗⊗⊗ products (every person in the world should know this) but as long as they work like the original i don't care.
I was also gonna offer a replacement plan jut in case the charger stops working (i'm aware that some chinese chargers break within the first month).
So what do you guys think?
i believe once i start selling apple products (cases, chargers, etc..) my business will explode and i'll be getting 50 - 100 buyers a week! (just like how eforcity started out).

Apple owns the intellectual rights to those Chinese generic chargers , so not exactly legal to sell

I just stopped holding my sides after laughing solid for 20 minutes.
Join the long line of new sellers who are blinded by the promise of a quick buck.
Your main snag is a real beast. It's APPLE.
Apple will come down on you like a ton of bricks. Many before you had the thought. Many are making their new accounts to get over their ebay suspension. |

But how come other sellers (big sellers) sell them? clearly they're selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ chargers but they don't get removed....i see people who sold 11k, 20k, etc...why is ebay not going after them?

They may also have permission from Apple.
You cannot base your sales on what other people can and cannot sell.

Also they're selling the chargers too cheap apple would never allow that (saw 4 iphone 5 chargers for 7 bucks!)

As I'm sure your aware, there are category limits so while you may have for example 100,000 items ready to go, cell phone accessories category might have a limit of 10 or less items....

This plan won't work if you're selling on your stealth account. Will get limited both by ebay and paypal. Especially paypal's 200/$20000 limit. Many people on this forum agrees it's best to avoid these type of items. But if you see potential, go ahead and sell a few inventory and see what happens. Getting limited is a part of learning stealth, so don't be surprised when ebay or paypal start knocking on the door.

I'm trying to make a business with ebay and after looking at the past i see that branded items make $$$. Eforcity started out with 3 guys and a garage and now they're a multi-million dollar company! and there first products was phone accessories so why can't i do what they did?

I think it's more eBay , taking down all the new sellers that sell apple products to keep apple happy
The big sellers bring them lots of money, to say that apple doesn't work out a deal with eBay may be Naive, but who knows
I think apple allows eBay to keep there big sellers in business as long as they are proactive in keeping it under control and banning the new members that try and sell everyday

I have to agree with dmshark, unfortunately we don't know what these big sellers have as far as agreement with eBay or Apple.

Try and justify any way you like. You will still get smoked nonstop. Plus, you have no problem selling ill/egal items. I can't wait to see what you think you will become a millionaire off of next.

We tend to advise users to look after their own accounts.
Those sellers with higher feedback has done several things.
Earned the right to sell as they are selling. NB: no account is immune from being taken down by ebay/VeRo.
Are in a position where the axe may fall any day.
Examine carefully all posts trying to help you.
Users have been there before.
Good Luck
