Do not sell Otterbox or Lifeproof cases!
 

Otterbox has bought out Lifeproof and they are very aggressive in threatening with lawsuits. Do not sell them unless you are absolutely sure that they are legit.

Always make sure your items are legitimate. The days of easily selling counterfeits and getting away with it are long gone. If the government doesn't get you, the rights owner very well may - they have undercover buyers who will purchase an item from you and if it turns out to be counterfeit, you end up in court, most likely with an expensive judgment against you. It isn't worth it. There are too many legitimate products to make money on.

It is wrong to sell counterfeit. However, without getting to much into details, the rights owner will have to prove that a huge damage was made to his brand if they really want to go there. In other words, if they want to sue you for 1 million, they better have some proofs that this was about what you made by using their name/logo/trademark. In most cases getting to court against small sellers wouldn't be worth for them, unless they want to prove a point or scare others. The first step would probably be a warning letter from their lawyers,
and maybe a signature will be required that you won't use their brand
name in the future.
I don't have experience in court or anything, I just made a lot of reading about the subject.
There are still many, too many sellers on ebay that sell counterfeit only. But they are mostly from outside of the USA.

A while back I bought 2 Otterbox cases and 1 clear was a phake but even the phake was well made.

Legit Lifeproof cases can be registered, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ can not registered at all. The replicas as close but fall apart by the phone jack port, most just break off.

Better off buying generics and offer cheap prices in quantity spread over several accounts.

I don't even understand why people sell counterfeits anymore. The profit margins are no longer there to make it worthwhile. So, why take the risk? It was one thing back when you could buy an item for $5 and sell it for $50, but those days are long gone.

There are SO MANY legitimate ways to make money on eBay! Change you method of thinking. Forget about trying to find the magical source of $100 iPads (it does not exist) and focus on niche items with more limited competition.
