selling vero

What's the best period of time to sell vero 1day, 3day 7day or buy it now. I want to include 1 or 2 items in a 100% feedback 5 year account should I take the risk? I see other sellers selling the same items consistently.

It truly depends on the VERO item.
With some brands you can NOT do 1 day or 3 Day listings.
Some of my brands I do 3-Day listings and others I do 7-Day listings.

I would say use buy it now for high end vero items. That way they sell faster and you have less chance of getting ****ed by competitors.

selling vero

Isn't it true that the longer you have vero listed the better chance of it getting pulled or does the vero program look for shorter listing more than longer listings?

Burst 10-31-2008 07:21 AM

That question makes no sense. The longer its up, the more chances of views it will get.

If you really want to movie quantity stock vero items list with buy it now and best offer and accept every offer thats worthwhile!

If you have quantity stock it's tough any way you cut it. If you have one or several listings with many quantities each, that will push the VeRO member's or eBay competitor's buttons. If you run just one listing for a single quantity over and over again, they will notice that too -- especially if they do a "completed" search and see your listing with many consecutive sales.

The advantage of repeatedly running a single listing for a single item is that only one customer at most gets a message from eBay if it's pulled ... as opposed to every customer who bought from a mutli-quantity listing. And maybe it will take longer for the VeRO member or competitor who exploits VeRO to notice that you're selling multiples.

I'm still learning, but logically it would seem that you need to be pretty damn sure it won't get pulled if you're going to sell with a 30-day listing with a large quantity.

I agree, Posting a picture of a receipt works very well..I think you also have to mix it up a bit. if you just made a killing on one brand, switch to another for a little, then go back.. I am not sure this works but I am skeptical of being a "PIG" you know they do get slaughtered.. any advice..

I've being contemplating the use of receipts...In addition to posting a disclaimer of the Fair Use Act, to Vero users and competitors, ..which is the law allowing the use of trademarked and copyrighted items to be resold if given as a gift or bought outright. I think a combination of Receipt and disclaimer will work......Under the threat of a lawsuit to Vero members who get your auctions pulled they'll have no recourse, this is legally sound...what do you think?

oompaloompa 02-27-2010 11:31 AM

^^no way, dont do that disclaimer part, they will be on to you more...

Yeah, that's a bad idea. Don't try to misspell vero items.. it doesn't work.

You don't have to mispell them you just put a s pace b etween the name or take certain keywords out and you can list any vero item on 1 day auction without a verified paypal account I've been doing it for months.

i shall have to try this, ive been playing around trying to outsmart the vero people of some items, certain items it is better to do 1 day auction rather than fixed
