Default Similar Items without Brand Name?

What do you guys think about selling items that are very similar or even meant to be replicates of brand name items but the only difference is that they don't have the logo on them?

It's against ebays policy, your not allowed to,sell replicates, so it would not last even to the point of one sale sometimes

If you list a replica, eBay will send you golfing for at least one week or two.

The major problem is that it is difficult to advertise it. You can't use phrases such as "looks like the Rolex Submariner" per eBay's rules. Invicta watches look like brand names sometimes, but they get away with it.

So, it CAN be done, but you have to be very careful in how you go about it. And some things won't fly at all. If you were to copy Coach's design for their purses but not say it was Coach, your listings will still be removed. Ditto for sunglasses that look like Oakley's, etc.

Obvious replicas of know products are high-risk and you will get suspended for that. Generic iphone cases are ok, but something that looks like an iphone, but has no "iphone" or "apple" brand on it still will get banned, as not only a brand name (word), but a physical design is also a subject of owner rights issues. I suggest selling only obvious things that are not repeating anything well-known. If you want to sell, say, China GoPro charger, make sure that original one has different design.

Counterfeits are still rife on ebay even though they do hate it, not enough to ban the Chinese sellers of course who will have huge fee's to pay, hence ebay earns more money!

They still ban guys with 10-20k+ feedbacks, but never guys with 100k+ feedbacks. These ebay monsters are immune for suspensions, but still they are facing issues with their items removed for violating ebay policies.

Generic iphone cases are a risk.

Avoid ever listing them

All iphone cases available on ebay are usually bought from wholesalers at Ali. These wholesalers are selling these cases at ebay as well. Are they VeROs for these generic cases? I just cant understand how there can be a VeRO for a piece of plastic or rubber.

MC113 is a temporary or a permanent suspension? I think they will suspend because it is a common item for a fraud, but if cases were bought legally, and all IDs, documents and everything is provided, it shouldn't be a problem?

I see MANY watch part accounts, with long time sellers, with huge sales, selling aftermarket parts, that are exactly like the real part, but no logo. Sometimes they even have a logo. Their accounts are still going strong, for quite awhile now.
