Can you explain if when and how 1 vero can suspend me/you plz?

If you re-list the same item after the warning...You need to wait for alert to go away 3+ months...or use another account you have, change photos, description, everything....

GreenBean 04-08-2009 09:35 PM

^^^ Forgot that nasty. LOL.

mmac900 04-09-2009 06:56 PM

I think what he is asking if you would get automatically suspended for 1 vero item, and in my experience it takes 3 or more. If you get the warning for 1 or 2, you should let the account cool for 3 months.

oompaloompa 04-10-2009 05:07 AM

no ususally one vero wont suspend you.

Only time ive heard of it was with a couple of aggressive companies in US, rare

NO ID 04-10-2009 07:02 AM

thanks - that's exactly the answers I was looking for. Wondering if one hit from vero would cause any thing to happen to any account: suspension/limitation/blocked/termination.......

Lyda 04-10-2009 08:04 AM

You are fine with 1 Vero, just don't get tempted to list again on the same account in the same fashion..That's when they can just shut you down without 'second' vero warning.

EbayFreak 04-10-2009 07:16 PM

Spend time in what your selling

I agree with lyda, after a vero, don`t list again for a least 2 weeks. Maybe longer if you can. Made the same mistake a couple weeks ago and BOOM everything gone again. And if you list ⊗⊗⊗⊗ vero items, look your items up online or buy 1 real one in the shop. Compare thAT to the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ones and than you now what you shouldn't show in your photo`s.

Or the answer might be 'How to safely sell? No to vero.'

im not saying no to profits!

Why are you ignoring the answer right in front of you? Tabberone has the most experience with these issues, and now she's actually a member here. Of course, if you're trying to sell f**es, she can't help you, but otherwise...

what do you think about just making all of your text putting this into a image... that way it cant be flagged IF they are using a computer for tracking certain wording.

If this would be the case you could have every damn word in an image then just rename the image every time and upload it to a free image hosting.... then change up the title then you should be golden.... I think????

At least this works for Craigslist and gets by all of there filters so i would almost think that it would work here as well...

Vicvelcro 04-22-2009 11:58 PM

Doing so is -technically- a no no. There is another down-side to using that method... Searching your item by description would be a ZERO.

They track for 'words' fullstop. Then an image only listing is picked up & checked. Gotta speak the speak to beat them:pout:

spector 04-23-2009 12:17 AM

ahhh yeah that is true... so maybe a combination of image and some good keywords that will stay under the radar...

Create a description in text and change it to the background color so no one would see it but the bots. Loophole :)

Orion,

Can you PM me with more details about this loophole?

Vicvelcro 05-01-2009 03:14 PM

PM me, too. If you would.

Thx.

GreenBean 05-01-2009 05:28 PM

^^^Send Orion a pm yourself. You want the info do the work.:peace:

Vicvelcro 05-02-2009 12:03 AM

Work is a 4 letter word.

Actually, my post was a request for Orion to PM me. I just worded it wrong. Ooops, me!

NO ID 05-04-2009 12:00 PM

I think that loophole was self explanatory:bounce:

does anyone selling VERO notice that there are little to 0 takedowns over the weekend? I assuming most VERO owners are off on the weekends. I usually start my listings on Friday afternoon and they are usually ok until Sunday night.
