I've downloaded and used CCleaner, but the free version only, and wondering whether that's enough for the job? Screenshot by Lightshot
Next I did go to adobe's flash player settings page and deleted the cookes
The guide then says (for windows)to remove additional flash cookies:
[Root drive]:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\
Flash Cookies are files with a .SOL extension.
I can't find that. Have directories changed?
Where do i go now to delete flash cookies stored in a folder somewhere
Using windows 8.1
I read in another thread that bleachclean was an alternative to CCleaner but sourceforge shows its available for xp, vista and windows 7. Can I download that for win8.1 also? I got the feeling that CCleaner the free version is not doing the job.

If you use separate user accounts on you pc or laptop there is no need to delete cookies.
In fact constantly deleting cookies will eventually lead to issues with your e/b and p/p accounts, particularly p/p.
They both expect to see cookies and get very twitchy when there are continually none.

I wasn't looking to do this constantly. But, just the once to freshen the computer up. It's what the guide shows to do, so, just following the sequence.
I'm actually only starting with one new account for now and therefore wasn't going to create a new account they way the guide shows, but, just freshen this one up by deleting the cookies.
Do you or anyone know how to get to those flash cookies in a folder somewhere on windows?

The guide is outdated in that respect, there are hundreds of posts covering this already.
Do NOT delete cookies, they are your allies if used correctly.
Set up a new user account if you want 'fresh' and then leave it alone.

I'm getting tired of hearing everywhere that the guide is outdated, in yet one more respect. Since its sold for considerable $$$ would it be so hard to update it?

Set up a new user account if you want 'fresh' and then leave it alone. | Perhaps you misunderstood me. I don't plan on deleting cookies every 5 minutes. Just this once to clear the old history, instead of setting up a new user account, because i only plan on running one account at this time, so, thought I'd wipe the cookies out this once and start fresh, then leave it alone.

And what makes YOU think it is not already happening?
The forum is the back up to the guide.
Use the forum to implement what the guide says and be successful in stealth.
Forum has the practical reports from the users about what happens in the real world.
New users need to go right over the forum to get the genreal idea of everything.

Cookies are your friend.
Keep cookies separate per user account. Never need to clean them to start 'fresh'.
Need to start fresh? Create a new user account.

I'm trying to implement what the guide says, but it makes it harder when its out of date at every turn.
CCleaner on the free version doesn't have check boxes for anything flash here as posted in the screenshot so looking for alternatives. I found a thread that recommended bleachsomething, which there doesn't seem to be a vesion for win8.
the guide points where to browse to in the file manager to delete flash cookies but that path doesn't seem to exist in current version of windows.
So, I'm a bit stuck now. In response to these questions I'm told those are out of date methods and I should just create a new account. Is there not an updated method to the above I can do as well, or must I simply open a new account?
Thank you for your help and support |

Opening a new account is simply the easiest method.
If you have a quick look on google though, type in your OS and your browser there are a number of guides about that tell you how to remove flash.

The other two were the CCleaner, which I'm not so happy with due to using the free version.
and the last one was going into some hidden folder where other flash cookies are kept within the directory.
So, if I just open a new account, none of the above is necessary?

With subscribers I usually suggest they make a plan of what they want to do.
Put that plan in the subscribers' area and we help you tweak it.
That way it reduces a lot of the concerns about info.
These are all valid points you are making, OP, and mean you should go on to good stealth work. |

The guide is needed but it is not the whole part of stealth it is the basic concept so you need to read it to start and get down the basics and once us have the basics u need to come here everyday and learn as we all do everyday
Stealth is an ongoing learning process that would be impossible to write down one guide that has and will have all the answers anyone promising that is a scam artist
The members that just gave you the advice about user accounts I would write their names down because you just received quality advice from some top players here, so good question to attract the people that u need to be staying close to on your journey here.
Just keep an open mind and like I said stay close to the right people here in the forum and don't think once u read the guide that is it , the guide is the first step to a long and hopefully prosperous journey, unfortunately there is no magic overnight bullet and different people will progress at different rates and everyone will constantly be learning progressing and fine tuning ur stealth skills everyday there is no end only a beginning .
So be patient and relax and learn and you will see how prosperous this technique can be .
So simply run the free version and open a new user account in windows and that is it you are good to go , accept this advice it is the correct answer as of today but keep a close hear here tomorrow we may advice that eBay has changed their tracking and we now need to get the pro version and run once a week but for now simply open a new user account and you will be heading in a right direction

1. Make different user accounts - 1 for each stealth acct.
2. Keep cookies for each account.
3. Dont cross info.
/done - simple.

Do different user accounts on a Mac separate cookies just like windows on a PC? I appreciate any answers as this is my only concern at this point.
Thanks!
