I thought that I had heard that Google checkout was not allowed on EB

I don't see that information in my profile but all I see is Base. How do you check your profile for Google Checkout signup? I don't even remember providing a SSN#!

if you tick the other merchant acct option on EB thats the work around also you cant use any google buttons or advertise thats what your merchant acct is so just send thegoogle invoice later. it really is just your merchant acct. they cant dictate what merchant acct provider you use.

It seems that Googlecheckout and even all of Google have been down today, all day! (9/8/07) Anyone else experienced?

I mean it seems SERIOUSLY down - I even have to go to msn.com just to search the terms

GC pays out regularly and without fail.

Well GC is suspending accounts left and right now. Worst then paypal.

They do not accept phone calls.

One thing I don't like about Google Checkout is that when a payment fails, you get no notification. You must log into your account either way to see if a payment has gone through or been rejected.

But the good part is that once GC accepts the payment, the money will be yours. Sure, on down the line there could be issues, but you'll get advance notice and have a fair chance to fight any chargebacks.

Not ture at all theres a 2 day gap and till the money is in your bank account and out of GC the money is theres

I had many accounts banned by GC cause i didnt go by there policy selling VeRO items and once they banned you any money that has not been paid out gets refund back to the buyer even if you shipped your SOL.

With paypal theres a 24 hour gap which is one of the few things i love about them as long as the money makes it through a whole day then you will get paid. Asides chargebacks and crap like that
