This may be the case in the US, but in the UK eBay have been know to allow an item to be returned even if the buyer admits damaging the goods.

Just worth noting that he can still file a charge back though his CC company which would need to be solved though PayPal :thumb:

Just to reiterate the point he cannot open a case though PayPal if he has purchased the item though eBay.

PayPal UK does not allow that to happen if the purchase took place on EB UK by a UK...

He will need to open it though eBay if he has purchased the item though eBay
