I am not currently using a router and am connected directly to my modem. If I change my mac address On the modem and get a new IP will I be guaranteed to get that same IP the next time I use that...

No I am in US and even if I another method do I need to worry about using the same IP each time I log into an account? No one answered this part of my question.
