Default SGC Activation/Risk Department?

I ordered two Simon Gift Cards about a week ago.

SGC #1: 4/25 $100 Loaded / AMEX
I accidentally purchased the AMEX SGC on 4/25/13 with the account having my stealth info which is basically a variation of my name with my PO Box street addressing address. I set the payment information as my real name. I still have not received this card. I paid with my real/legit Chase bank debit/check card.

SGC #2: $115 4/27 Loaded (used discount code from SGC #1) / VISA
I purchased another SGC, but this time it was the VISA SGC on 4/27/13, which I received today, 5/1/13 with the account having the stealth address for card info. I had it shipped to the address at the post office with street addressing (above), payment info with the same address with street addressing, but with a stealth address (a mom and pop postal box rental shop) for card info. I actually paid for this card using a grocery store VISA card that I purchased at a Kroger supermarket. The card I got from the Kroger market is a card by US-Bank, which is the same bank as the SGC. Would there be a problem buying a Simon Visa gift card with a Visa gift card I purchased from the market? The market visa gift card wouldn't work on PP/eB so I just went ahead and killed the balance by buying the SGC.

I went online to try to activate the SGC #2, but instead, I received this:"This card cannot be activated online. Please call Simon Card Services at 1-866-300-9401". I called in and was connected to a rep, and I verified the name, card number, and the original amount loaded onto the card, and was asked what I would like help with. I told the rep that I wanted to activate the card for use, and was told that There has been a temporary block on this card. He asked me if I had made any transactions on it that would cause the block, and I told him I just received it in the mail and wanted to have it activated. He then told me Okay, the person who purchased the card must call the "Risk Department" in order for us to have the card activated.

Now how can that not sound scary? They gave me the phone number at 1-866-305-6236 between 9 AM and 6 PM EST, which has already passed. I'll give it a go tomorrow, but is there something I should be worried or concerned about? I haven't even received the first card, which was an AMEX that'll probably have problems.

I'll also try 1-866-885-6320 if I have no luck with the first number. Found this number on another thread.

These matters are only as scary as you let them be. Usually their Customer service is helpful especially if you explain you are new to using their services.
