Question Paypal fraud department?

Does paypal really have a fraud department where they put a hold on your account for just 1 item for thinking the item is booloney? I mean this when an ebayer calls in.

Each case differs.

Depends on monetary value of goods.

See, selling foo-foos does not pay.

Another dental trip.

Above post should have been your opener.

You are asking what to do with a nasty buyer who is making trouble because of the nature of your item?

I agree with GB on this, I've also noticed you are sometimes too obtuse & vague with the true intent of your questions in some of your posts.

FanKang the best thing you can do is always offer the refund and issue it promptly. If they continue to harass you after the fact then I would just ask them now you have issued a refund and let them keep the product. "What more can I do for you to make this a positive transaction now that you have received a complete refund and kept the product".

I wrote the question all wrong. What I meant fraud department is foo foo department. This guy harrassed me after keeping the item and getting a refund and making me leave him positive that he is sending the item to paypals foo foo department. I don't really care because i know he's being a real ass. I wanted to know if there is such a department where paypal receives these items or no? Before somebody comes and says stop selling foo foo. Im not, but I got a complete idiot who bought an expensive item and now is taking me down all the way I looked at his feedback and he has done it for others too.

Probably so - just to destroy...or resell by some wayward employees.

Of course Paypal has a Fraud department,,,are you kidding with that Question?,,,and Yes Im Quite SURE that there are some People that actually send them their Counterfeit Purchases,,,the World is FULL of do-Gooders or Ass^oles, (Depending what your point of View is)

I am also Quite Sure that Paypal in some cases that they are investigating might even Request someone to send them ther purchase, so that they can see it first hand..

Now if your Item is Legit,,,then,,What do you Care?,,,Tell them to send it to Paypal, Hell it might even Help you,,,Who Knows?,,,If Paypal sees the item is Legit,,they might REVERSE the Refund that you issued,,,,

Now on the other hand,,If the Item is a ⊗⊗⊗⊗,,Well then this is simply Blackmail and I can see your concern,,,but again, If you did Created your account Properly,, the worst that can happen is that it costs you an Account,,,,,So What?

Oh c'mon. Have none of you seen the recent story about the $2500 "⊗⊗⊗⊗" violin?
